Rosita Gabbianelli is Associate Professor of Biochemistry, at University of Camerino Faculty of Pharmacy. Invited professor of Biochemistry at the Jilin Agricultural University, Changchun, China. Invited Professor in Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics, at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napooca, Department/Unit of Food Science, CLUJ-Napoca, Romania and at ISS-ISEP, Porto, Portugal. She worked during her PhD at the Institute of Biochemistry of Marche Polytechnic University, Ancona. After her PhD in Biology, she was at the Department of Biology, University of Warwick, Coventry, U.K., University of Lodz, Department of General Biophysics, Lodz, Poland, Universitat Auṭnoma de Barcelona, Bellaterra. Catalunya, Spain and at the Department of Biotechnology, Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu for research activity. She is the coordinator of the research cooperation between the University of Camerino and the National Institute in Gerontology and Geriatrics (INRCA). She is the course manager for the Bachelor degree in Scientific Information of Drugs and Science of Fitness and Health Products, where she coordinates a large project on Food and Health in the young population. She is the coordinator of the activity of the University of Camerino with the “Italian Association against Cancer”. Her expertise is documented in more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, 2 book chapters and more of 110 abstracts to international meetings. She is a member of review panels of some journals on health and she is Chair of the Scientific and Organizing Committee of the European Summer School on Nutrigenomics.
Gabbianelli Rosita Research Interests are genetic and epigenetic changes associated to the development of neurodegenerative diseases induced by environmental pollutants;oxidative stress diseases and molecular responses to redox processes;epigenetic role of nutrients.
