Dr. Walaa El-Shwiniy was born in Zagazig, Egypt on 22 Sept. 1986. She received his Ph.D., degree in Chemistry from Zagazig University, Egypt in 2013. Currently she is a Lecturer and researcher of Chemistry at Zagazig University. She has published many international peer reviewed journals and also she is serving as reviewer an editor of several reputed international journals.

Walaa El-Shwiniy Research Interests are Metal Drug Complexes, spectrophotometric determination of drugs, Drug Design, Thermal Analysis, Antibiotics, Antibiotic Resistance, Medicinal Chemistry, Bacterial Antibiotic Resistance, Pharmacology, UV-Visible Spectroscopy, Antibacterial Activity, Antimicrobial Resistance, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Protease inhibitors, 1H-NMR, Density Functional Theory, Bacteriology, Spectra, Spectra and Synthesis of bioinorganic metal complexes and its microbial application as a new drug.
