Dr. Indrani Adhikari (Mitra) is a Senior Research Associate of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, India and lecturer in the Regional Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, Tripura, India and is extensively associated through elaborative research with Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. She obtained her B. Pharm degree from Jadavpur University and master degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from University of Calcutta. She completed her PhD from Jadavpur University and is engaged thoroughly in the field of research since then. She has published several original research articles as well as review work in a number of peer reviewed journals. She has also consistently made podium and poster presentations in various national and international conferences. One of her research articles received the award of “Most cited paper” from the corresponding journal. VLife software services awarded one of her research articles with the “Best paper of the year award”. She has received several recognitions for academic and professional excellence. She is engaged as the reviewer of several international journals.

Indrani Adhikari Dr. Indrani Adhikari has done extensive research in the field of cheminformatics dealing with molecular modelling and drug design. Her areas of research chiefly involve designing of new chemical entities and database mining of drug molecules employing in silico methodology. Additionally, mechanism of action of antioxidants together with identification of their active pharmacophore and design of new species with antioxidant potential have also been elaborately studied by her.
