Dr. Cedrick Zaouter French citizen, I conducted my studies in Italy in a French institution. Then, I completed my medical studies at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, Italy, receiving my diploma with full marks. Afterward, I have been accepted in the anaesthesia program of the University of Pisa, Italy, where I concluded my residency program in anaesthesia obtaining my diploma with full marks and honours. During my residency, I was the recipient of two scholarships that allowed me to make research fellowships at the Montreal General Hospital part of the McGill University Hospital Centre. During this training, I acquired a deep insight into new approaches and techniques in the field of perioperative medicine, loco-regional anaesthesia and automated anaesthesia. After my residency, I have completed a clinical fellowship in cardiac and thoracic surgery, concomitantly with a master in experimental surgery at the McGill University Hospital Centre. I am presently working in the department of cardiac surgery as a consult anaesthetist and intensive care physician at the University Hospital of Bordeaux, France. As of today, the diligent and prolific work provided in the aforementioned areas of research lead me to publish a total of 34 peer-reviewed articles. Since 2013, member of the teaching board for the University Diploma for “Extracorporeal Circulation in Cardiac Surgery and Substitution of Organs.” of the University teaching Hospital of Bordeaux. Since 2016, member of the board for continuing education in transesophageal echocardiography of the University teaching Hospital of Bordeaux.
