Biography

Dr. Salman Khan received the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from University of Peshawar, Pakistan, and the PhD in Pharmacology (Neuropharmacology and Analgesia) from the College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea. Dr Khan got his first post-doctoral training at College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea and another at the Allan Edward Research Centre for Pain, McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Dr Khan then moved to Department of Pharmacy, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan as an assistant professor of Pharmacology. Dr Khan research is involved in utilizing stem cells in inflammation and degenerative diseases as well as various animal models. Additionally, Dr Khan also focusing on clinical outcomes in various Hospitals with respect to patients associated disease and medications.


Research Interest

Dr. Khan's current work focuses on Development of new drug for the treatment of neuropathy and neurodegenerative disorders. The area covers my expertise are Neuropharmacology & Analagesia, Immunopharmacology, and Biofunational natural products.
