Dr. Madhukar Saxena is principle investigator cum research Scientist in Biotechnology, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (A Central University), Vidya Vihar, Rai Bareilly Road, Lucknow, INDIA. He earned his M.Sc. in Biochemistry the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India and a PhD with specialization in Molecular & Human Genetics from University of Lucknow, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has a post doctoral experience in adipocyte biology in relation to inflammatory marker with diabetes. He was honored by young scientist award from ZSI, India as well as S. C. Pant Memorial Award from Society of Professional Biotechnologist, India. He has many publications to his credit in reputed national and international journals. He is also a learned editor/ reviewer in many journals.
Dr. Madhukar Saxena’s research interests focus on inflammation and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Other areas of interest include biochemical genetics of diabetes, molecular and human genetics, adipocyte biology, obesity, anti-diabetic drugs and other interdisciplinary approaches in diabetes.
