Dr. Michail Matalliotakis graduated from ΜC Daniel International College, Budapest, in 2007. Moreover; he graduated from Semmelweis Medical University of Hungary, Budapest, in 2013. He worked as a resident doctor in the Surgery department of Saint Nicolas General hospital of Lasithi-Crete until 2014. He completed the training program Fellowship in the Obstetric Ultrasound, at Kings College Hospital in London, between 2014 and 2016. Additionally, he worked as a Clinical Fellow at the University College Hospital of London from 2014-to 2016. He completed his Ph.D. at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in cooperation with the Section of Molecular Pathology and Human Genetics Section, Department of Internal Medicine, University of Crete. In 2019, Michail completed the Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the departments of Venizelio General hospital and the University Hospital of Heraklion, Crete; furthermore, he completed the Post-Doctoral Research at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the MSc at Democritus University of Thrace (2022). Currently, he is a locum Consultant in the OBG department of Venizeleio General Hospital, Heraklion-Crete. Notably, he has published 45 papers in journals, 40 international abstracts in conferences, 63 national abstracts in conferences and seminars, and one book section as an author. Additionally, he participates in 1 international (IECG) and 1 national project (ENGAGE).
Dr. Michail’s Matalliotakis research interests are Endometriosis, Fetal medicine, and Evidence-based studies.
