Dr. Swati Omanwar (M. Vsc., PhD.) is Principal Investigator in Discipline of Life Sciences, School of Sciences, Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, India . She was awarded her Ph.D in Medical Physiology from University of Delhi (India) and M.Vsc from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izzatnagar (India). She has been working in the field of cardiovascular toxicity for the past ten years. She works on the animal model of diabetes, chronic heart failure and mercury exposure. Her area of interest lies in endothelial mediated alterations in the cardiovascular system. She has outstanding records of scientific and academic accomplishments with research funding, numerous publications in highly prestigious journals, reviewer of many journals and various presentations in both national and international conferences.
