Adriano N. Raposo received his BSc degree (5 years) in computer science with honor in 2003, the MSc degree in 2006, and the PhD degree in computer engineering in 2015, all from the University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal. In his doctoral thesis he presented new geometric models and computational algorithms for plasmid DNA (pDNA) simulations and real-time 3D visualization. Adriano is a researcher at the Covilhã branch of Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT) being a member of the Network Architecture and Protocols – CV group. He also has a close connection to the Health Sciences Research Center (CICS) with several collaborations in areas such as Biotechnology and Medical sciences. Adriano works at the Health Science Faculty at the University of Beira Interior since 2005.
Adriano N. Raposo Research Interests are include 3D geometric modeling, molecular graphics, computational biology, bioinformatics and augmented reality for medical skills training.
