Dr. Ramesh Pudake, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientific officer at Amity Institute of Nanotechnology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, India. Dr. Ramesh’s long-term research interest has been in the area of abiotic and biotic stress tolerance in crop plants which are critical for economic security of farmers. He has characterized many pathway genes involved in stress tolerance in crops like wheat, soybean, and finger millet. He has excellent academic career, and completed PhD in Crop Genetics and Breeding from China Agricultural University, Beijing.
Dr. Ramesh Pudake present research interest includes judicious combination of molecular biology and nanotechnology to understand some of the fundamental issues related to genetic improvement of crops. Due to his distinguishing achievements as budding scientist, he was awarded a young scientist project by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India, to study molecular mechanism involved in drought resistance in Finger Millet.
