Cédric Sapet was After a Master Degree 2 in Bioinformatics, Structural Biology and Genomics, Cédric Sapet have obtained his PhD. in eukaryote biology where he became specialized in high throughput analysis (transcriptome, proteome and high content screening) and vascular endothelium biology. At that time his researches focused on an autoimmune disease (antiphospholipid syndrome) acting on endothelial cells and vascular wall by the mean of bioinformatics tool (mainly transcriptome analysis using DNA arrays). In 2006, he was recruited by the Institute of tropical medicine of the French army medical services (IMTSSA, Marseille – France) as a post-doctoral researcher and worked on Dengue Virus and its implication in vascular leakage using proteomics and transcriptomic analysis and high content screening. Then, he joined a lab at the Sanford Burnham Institute, La Jolla-San Diego (CA) for another short post-doctoral position before being employed in 2009 by a biotech company OZ Biosciences specialized in molecular delivery based in Marseille. Since then,he is working as a Researcher and project manager in Biology and Biotechnology in the R&D department. Cédric Sapet was in charge of the development of new reagents and manage projects in the context of European grants (EPICURE, GAMBA, UNIVAX).
Cédric Sapet's research interests are genetics, gene modification, delivery, immunology, molecular biology and genomics.
