Ying Yin LEE is a specialist anaesthesiologist. He is currently working as Consultant in Department of Anaesthesiology and Operating Theatre Services, Kwong Wah Hospital, Hong Kong. He completed his MBChB in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has got Diploma of Anaesthesia from the Royal College of Anaesthetists in United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of Faculty of Anaesthetists, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He is also a Fellow of Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists and a Fellow of Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Anaesthesiology). In his post-graduation training, he has acquired Master of Science in Pain Management from University of Wales, United Kingdom. He was awarded Doctor of Medicine by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His thesis was ‘The Use of Levobupivacaine and Ropivacaine spinal anaesthesia for lower limb and urological surgery’. In addition to be a Consultant in clinical anaesthesia, he was Honorary Associate Professor in Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, The Chinese University of Hong Kong from Year 2005 to 2013. He has presented a number of scientific papers in international medical conferences on various topics of anaesthesia such as obstetric anaesthesia, spinal and epidural anaesthesia and anaesthesia management information system.
Dr. Ying Yin LEE research interests are general and spinal / epidural anaesthesia. He has published a number of papers on the use of levobupivacaine and ropivacaine in spinal anaesthesia.
