Dr. Ahmed RG received his Ph.D. in Developmental Biology (Developmental endocrinology, Toxicology, Neurobiology and Biochemistry) from Beni-Suef University, Egypt and received research training (postdoctoral fellowship) as a visiting scholar at the Katholic University, Belgium. He has outstanding records of scientific and academic accomplishments with multiple research funding, numerous publications (books/papers) in highly prestigious journals and various presentations in both national and international conferences. He served as a scientific editors and reviewer for the national and international research institutions. He has an honor from Society for Endocrinology in project of You and Your hormones. He is a member of a number of eminent societies, organizations and schools.
Dr. Ahmed RG's research is focused on Developmental Metabolic research, developmental neuroscience, developmental neurotoxicology, developmental neuroendocrinology, developmental biology, evolutionary endocrinology, developmental physiology, developmental neuroscience, neurodevelopmental behavior (cognitive science) and molecular development.Study the mechanisms of endocrine disruptors and anti-thyroid drugs during the development of rats and chicken. Study the effect of perinatal halogenated aromatic hydrocarbons exposure on the developmental neuroendocrine and adipokines (fat metabolism) systems.Study the genomic and non-genomic actions of thyroid hormones on the cellular proliferations and differentiations.
