Dr. Rao Mukkavilli is working as Research Scientist in Department of Biology in Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA. He got his M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Delhi University and M.Tech. in Analytical Chemistry from IIT, Delhi. Dr. Rao completed his doctoral research in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics from Manipal University, India. He has 14 years of industrial experience in Pharmaceutical Research and Development and Contract Research Organizations and worked with top pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Dr. Rao has published in peer review journals and has 3 patents to his name till date. Dr. Rao contributed to the preparation of 50 Investigational New Drug applications which are in clinical trials and one compound Syriam is in market for treatment of Malaria.
