Biography

Dr. Amanda Machado-Weber is a Ph.D. biologist graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Brazil. Received both Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Biology with an emphasis on Physiology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil with internship and thesis abroad in Heidelberg University, Germany during Ph.D. Currently researcher at Heidelberg University. Worked for over 10 years in cell biology and have deepen and strengthen knowledge in primary and tumor cell line culture, monolayer and 3D culture as well as in molecular biology techniques. Fascinated for intercultural exchange and professional growth as well as new research challenges.

Dr. Amanda Machado-Weber Research Interests are Cancer biomarkers, Diabetes, Tumor Treatment Efficiency, Cancer Development and Metastasis, Cell Signaling Pathways.
