Biography

Dr. Mariam Abdel Jalil is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biopharmaceutics and Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Jordan (UJ), Amman, Jordan. She obtained her PhD degree in clinical pharmacy from Queen's University Belfast (QUB), Belfast, United Kingdom. Dr. Abdel Jalil started her academic and research carrier immediately after graduating from QUB in 2014, as a young researcher, she was able to obtain two research grants and has so far published 6 research articles in national and international peer reviewed journals such as Scientific Reports, the American Journal of Infection Control, Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy and Plos One. Furthermore, she is serving as a reviewer and an Editor for Journals such as the Journal of Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology, and the International Journal of Research in Pharmacy and Biosciences.


Research Interest

Dr. Mariam Abdel Jalil Research interests include Pharmacy practice, adherence to medications/ compliance with guidelines, medication errors, pharmacokinetics modeling and simulation and pharmacogenetics.
