Dr. Amjad Ali Khan got his PhD in Biochemistry from AMU, India. During his doctorate degree, he got expertise in protein purification, enzyme kinetics, immobilization and purification of immunoglobulins raised from different animals. As a postdoctoral fellow from UMN, Minneapolis-USA, he was involved in the study of signal transduction pathways as the post-translational modification of RIP140 and TR2 proteins. Besides this he was working on the retinoic acid induced differentiation of embryonic carcinoma cells like P19 cells and fat accumulation in 3T3L1 cells by cellular differentiation protocols. Amjad Ali Khan is now currently working as an Assistant Professor in College of Applied Medical Science, Qassim University, Saudi Arabia. He is actively involved in academics of graduate and post-graduate level. In addition to this, he is also engaged in different research projects at Qassim University. Furthermore, he works as a team member in other research activates related to cancer induction, expressional analysis of different sub-cellular pathways. He has published more than 30 research and review articles in internationally reputed journals. In addition to this, he is keenly involved in reviewing activities for a number of excellent journals.
He is interested in research activities like diabetes induction and studies of antioxidant role of different medicinal plant extracts and their anti-diabetic properties.
