Dr. Yan Zuo is an instructor in the department of Integrative biology and pharmacology, McGovern Medical School, at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), Houston, USA. She got a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology at the Hunan Normal University in China in 2001, a master’s degree in molecular biology and biochemistry at the Institute of Microbiology of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing China in 2004, and a PhD in reproductive medicine in Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Hong Kong in 2009. From January 2011 to April 2015, Dr. Zuo was a postdoctoral research fellow in cancer biology in the department of Integrative biology and pharmacology, McGovern Medical School, at UTHealth, Houston, USA. From April 2015 to present, Dr. Zuo is an instructor in the same department. Dr. Zuo has involved in several NIH grants application, with 20 published papers and 10 poster presentations in international conferences.
Dr. Yan Zuo’s research focus on investigating the in vivo roles of Net1, a RhoA specific guanine nucleotide exchange factor, in breast cancer and vascular injury.
