Nevenka Krcevski Skvarc working at University Medical Center Maribor, Slovenia at the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Treatment. Has the position of the Head of Pain Unit and the Head of Palliative Care Unit. She is active at Faculty of Medicine University of Maribor as a lecturer and mentor in Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine and Palliative Care. At the Faculty has the position of the Head of Institute of Palliative Medicine and Care. She is active as a lecturer and mentor at College of Health Science in Celje, Slovenia. She is a founder Slovenian Association for Pain Management in 2006 and has been the first President for nine years, after that a member of Association’s Council. From 1996 till 2011 she has been the Councilor of EFIC, and from 2011 till 2017 the Honorary Secretary of European Pain Federation – EFIC.

Nevenka Krcevski Skvarc research interest is chronic pain management, cancer pain, neuropathic pain - PHN, palliative medicine and care.
