Biography

Dr Aleksandar Raskovic has received his MD in 1997 and PhD in 2005 at University of Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia. Currently, he is working as Full Professor of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Clinical Pharmacology, at Medical Faculty, University of Novi Sad. Since 2001, he is devoted to study pharmacological properties of synthetic derivatives of bile acids and interaction between herbal supplements and conventional drugs. He has authored 26 research articles and four books. Currently, he is on the Project of Ministry of Science, Republic of Serbia: Interactions of xenobiotics and their influence on systems in biomedicine. He is a member of the Section of Clinical Pharmacology of the Serbian Medical Association and The European Association for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics. He is Reviewer in Hospital Pharmacology, an International Multidisciplinary Journal which publishes papers in the field of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology and is Reviewer in Medical Review, a Journal of Serbian Medical Association, Novi Sad.
