Biography

Dr. Ece Yamak Altinpulluk was born in Turkey. She received her MD degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, Istanbul, Turkey in 2003. She completed an exchange program at Department of Cell Biology and Genetics, Erasmus Medical Faculty, Rotterdam, Netherlands in 2002. Between 2006 and 2007, she made Internal Medicine Residency at Gazi Medical Faculty, Ankara Turkey. She completed her anesthesiology and reanimation residency training in Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, Istanbul, Turkey from 2009 to 2013. She was assigned in Trakya University Medical University, Edirne Turkey from 2014 to 2015. Since 2015 she has been working as an Anesthesiologist at Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, Istanbul, Turkey. In 2016, she worked as a fellow in Regional Anesthesia at Department of Anesthesiology, Hospital Universitario Mostoles in Madrid, Spain. In 2017 she had been an observer doctor at Acute Pain Management Service in Cleveland Clinic, Anesthesiology Institute, Department of General Anesthesia, Cleveland, OH. She has been invited as visiting instructor to European Society Of Regional Anesthesia Workshops and she is member of Ultradissection Spain EchoTraining School. Dr. Yamak Altinpulluk practice and teach obstetric anesthesia, regional anesthesia, acute pain management and general anesthesia for five years.


Research Interest

Dr. Ece Yamak Altinpulluk’s research interests are regional anesthesia, general anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, postoperative analgesia, acute pain management, anesthetic techniques and multimodal analgesia regimes effecting cancer related pain, oncoanesthesia.
