Dr. Reza Razaghi is a biomedical engineering scientist, specialized in computational methods for simulating multi-scale biomechanics phenomena. He came to Tissue Engineering and Biological Systems Research Laboratory from IUST school of Mechanical Engineering, where he was a research assistant. He obtained his research training in Bioengineering-Biomechanics that led to the award of a M.Sc. Thereafter, he shifted focus toward fracture mechanics and bone injury, and obtained a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tabriz, Iran. Dr. Razaghi has either authored or co-authored over 30 peer reviewed publications in scientific journals and book chapters that form a foundation for future studies on bioengineering studies. List of honors and awards received by Dr. Reza Razaghi: - Certificate of Outstanding Reviewer, Materials Science and Engineering C, ELSEVIER, January 2016. - The Nightingale Prize, Best paper of the year, The International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE), 2015. - Candidate for the ‘Top national student of Iran award’, 2015. - Outstanding researcher at 2013-2014 Academic year, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Iran University of Science & Technology.
