Dr. Johirul Islam is a Research Associate at Molecular Immunology and Immunogenetics Laboratory, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University, Assam, India. He did his PhD from Defence Research Laboratory, Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Assam, India and Dibrugarh University, Assam, India. His research focuses on a broad area of Pharmaceutical technology including drug delivery, formulation development, toxicology, and molecular biology. He has published his work at many prestigious peer-reviewed journals including Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology, Journal of Food and Drug Analysis, Journal of Chromatographic Science, RSC Advance, etc. He has published 15 articles in peer reviewed journal and 1 Indian patent disclosure to his credit.

Dr. Johirul Islam's Research interests are Understanding the role of natural killer (NK) cells in cancer biology, and investigation of the newer targeted therapeutics.
