Dr.Muluken Wubetu is a lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy, college of health Sciences, Debre Markos University, Ethiopia. He possesses Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (B. Pharm.) and Master degree (Msc) in Pharmacology. He joined the services Debre Markos University as an assistant lecturer in 2011. After two-year of teaching service, he was sent to masters program in pharmacology to University of Gondar (2013), Ethiopia. After successfully completing his master degree. He came back to the university and continued his academic, community service and research works. He then joined as a member of Ethiopian pharmaceutical association, Ethiopian public health association and ethiopian red cross associations and provided professional support for the better achievement of the respective associations. He is a registered pharmacist with food, medicine, hygiene authority of Ethiopia. He has served within the University, as Acting Head, Department of pharmacy, unit coordinator of Pharmacology, member of University research and community service committee, member of community based committee, member of HIV and gender issues committee all at college level. Have successfully supervised several Master degrees, and currently supervising a number of Master and under graduate degree candidates. He also presented research findings at national level in differern universities like Hawassa university and University of Gondar. He is a reviewer to many Scientific Journals including: Biomedical and pharmacology journal, Hindawi publishing corporation, journal of complementary medicine and journal of Gavin Publishers; He has also published many academic papers and reviews in academic journals
Dr.Muluken Wubetu’s Research interest include Pharmacology, Traditional medical practices, Health and patient care, Health extension programs, Drug information and related issues.
