I am Dr. Sagadevan Pattiyappan was born in a small village (manjoor), in Nilgiris District, Tamil Nadu, India. I am young and dynamic researcher I am completed my Doctoral Degree in Biotechnology at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. My area of research interest is Biotechnology, molecular-biology, plant biotechnology. I would like to be actively involved in the development of the department activities by maintaining the highest personal standards of character and conduct, keeping abreast of my academic disciple through continuing study, research and participation in the activities of my professional organization.

Dr. Sagadevan Pattiyappan I have very good research experience in the preparation and characterization of various nanomaterials and plant and molecular biotechnology , plant phytochemicals their applications in Sensors, Biomedical and Environmental applications, etc., I will write project proposals in the biotechnology , Nanotechnology / Bionanotechnology area to the government funding agencies such as DST, DRDO, DBT, ICAR, ICMR, ISRO etc, in order that the department is granted with advanced and sophisticated equipment. I will give my best to effectively carry out the responsibility of assigned teaching, research and public service duties in a professional manner and in keeping with Institute policy and prove worthy of my selection.
