Dr. Prakash K G is a Professor and Head in the Department of Anatomy at Azeezia Institute of Medical Sciences & Research [AIMSR], Meeyannoor [Kollam District], Kerala (India). He obtained his bachelor's degree MBBS at Govt. Medical College, Bellary (India) under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health & Sciences, Karnataka (India). He also obtained his M.D in Anatomy at JSS Medical College, Mysore Karnataka, under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health & Sciences (India). He has done his Ph.D. work under BLDE Deemed to be University, Vijayapura, Karnataka (India). He is a Life Member of Society of Clinical Anatomists (SOCA), Anatomical Society-KCA (Karnataka Chapter), Indian Medical Association (IMA), Anatomical Society of India (ASI), Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI), Nano Science & Technology Consortium (NSTC), Academic Health Professional Education (AHPE) society, Indian Epilepsy Society (IES), Indian Academy of Neurosciences (IAN), Indian Society For Clinical Research (ISCR), etc.

Dr. Prakash K G is interested in the fields of research which includes Neuroanatomy, Neuropharmacology, Neurophysiology, Medical Education, and Screening of Isolated Compounds for Various Activities in Pre-Clinical Laboratories especially for CNS Disorders; His present research focuses on searching for the effective therapy and screening of the same in various animal models for neurodegenerative disorders.
