Dr. Hazem El-Debaky is an Associated Professor of reproductive genetics and functional genomics, Animal Reproduction and AI department, National Research Centre, Egypt. He is a graduate in veterinary science from the Faculty of veterinary medicine, Cairo University, Egypt 1990. He gets a Diploma of clinical pathology (1993) from the same faculty. He did Masters of Biochemistry and chemistry of nutrition (1998) from the Faculty of veterinary medicine, Cairo University, and Ph. D of Biochemistry and molecular biology from the same University. He worked as a teaching assistant of medical biochemistry in Animal Health Research Institute (1993 – 1999), Cairo, Egypt. Then Agriculture Genetic Engineering Research Institute (1999-2001). He was assistant lecturer of biochemistry (2004-20012) National Research Centre, Cairo Egypt. Lecturer of biochemistry and molecular biology since 2012 – 2019. Membership in National committee of Biochemistry and Molecular biology, Mistry of higher education and scientific research, Egypt (2013 to 2018). Visitor researcher (2016) in the laboratory of Animal Functional Genomics, Department of Animal and Dairy Science, Mississippi State University, USA. He is an Associate Professor of reproductive genetics and functional genomics at, National Research Centre from 2019 to the present.
Dr. Hazem El-Debaky's research interest includes Reproductive genetics and animal functional genomics, gene expression of productive and reproductive traits in farm animals, genetic polymorphism, miRNA and animal fertility, bioinformatic analysis of DNA sequencing results, genetics characterization of some reproductive diseases and hormonal assays of reproductive physiology in animals.
