Dr. Engy Fayz Zaki is an Associated Professor of Meat Science and Technology, Desert Research Center. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University (Cairo, Egypt) 1999. She did a Master’s in Agricultural Science (same University, 2007) and a Ph.D. from University of Ain Shams, Cairo, Egypt, 2013. She served as Head of the Meat Science and Technology Unit. Division of Animal Breeding, Desert Research Center, Cairo, Egypt, since 2020 until the present. She is an Adjunct Associated Professor at, Department of Animal Breeding, Animal, and Poultry Production Division, Desert Research Center, Cairo, Egypt from 2018 until the present.
Dr. Engy Fayz Zaki's research interests are Meat science and technology; Processing of meat products; Use of new ingredients as meat preservatives; Animal nutrition and meat quality; Meat microbiology.
