Dr. Abdelwahab is currently working as Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar as well as a senior Consultant Neonatologist at the Women's Wellness and Research Center, Doha Qatar. He graduated from medical in Egypt then moved to the US and got my general pediatric residency training at St Joesph's children hospital part of the Mount Sinai school of medicine -NY then the neonatology fellowship at Michigan State University, he is am currently practicing his dual role as a clinician neonatologist and at the same time leading the neonatal fellowship at HMC. Dr. Abdelwahab is currently serving on a USA national level as a member of the executive committee of the Section on Simulation and Innovative Learning Methods (SoSILM).
Dr. Abdelwahab has a special interest in curriculum design and simulation in the field of medical education. I recently gained a master's degree and post-master certificate of evidence-based teaching from Johns Hopkins University in medical education. He is currently preparing for a project that involves the application of Artificial intelligence (AI) in medical education.
