Structure-dynamics-function aspects of bioactive compounds including carbohydrates, glycopeptides and small antimicrobial proteins and peptides; Interactions between these compounds investigated at atomic resolution using the state of the art NMR techniques, that are equipped with alternative techniques like ITC; Development of novel NMR techniques, especially to those which give dynamic informations, e.g. relaxation methods and protein unfolding experiments; NMR sensitivity and resolution enhancement methods to obtain more accurate NMR parameters and to improve the quality of the solution structures of biomolecules.
