Dr. Ramin Nazari has undergone Pediatric Critical Care medicine fellowship training at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA with special interest to pediatric cardiac ICU and research in procedural sedation. He earned his Medical Degree (1992), at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. Following residency in Pediatrics, he worked as pediatrician and NICU director for a few years until he moved to USA. Upon arrival to USA he started his research in Asthma and allergy group with the focus on Immunotherapy in children under the age of 4 years at Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
He started his fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine in September 2011. While at St. Christopher’s Hospital, his research project was focused upon procedural sedation in children specifically about Propofol and its effect on this age group. The product of his research was multiple posters and abstracts that is presented in the Society of Critical Care Medicine congress in 2014-2015 and Pediatric critical care Colloquium in 2013 and is published in Critical Care Medicine and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Journals.
