Associate Professor SuraphongLorsomradee, MD., PhD. is a Senior Consultant Cardiac and Liver Transplantation Anesthesiologist and founder of TIVA Training Center from Chiang Mai University Hospital, Thailand, and the Scientific Chairman of the Society of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologists of Thailand. DrLorsomradee completed a Clinical & Research Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia and Perioperative Organ Protection from Antwerp University Hospital, Belgium, and PhD in Cardiac output and Hemodynamic Monitoring from Keio Hospital, Tokyo, Japan. He is the author of several peer-reviewed publications and being the international knowledge spreader in goal directed therapy, intravenous anesthesia, hemodynamic monitoring and perioperative cardiac and organ protection. He is also the co-founder of International Federation of Intravenous Anesthesia (IFIVA), Asia Oceanic Community of Intravenous Anesthesia (AOCIVA), and Asia Anesthesia Forum (AAF).
