Dr. Mohammad Azam Ansari received his Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in 2013. Presently, he is working in College of Applied Medical Sciences, Buraydah Colleges, Al-Qassim, Saudi Arabia as an Assistant Professor. He has significantly contributed in the field of Bacteriology, green nanotechnology, nanotoxicology, bacterial drug resistance and biofilm. He has published significant number of papers in journals of national and international repute like Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, World Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Biology and Medicine, International Journal of Applied Biology and Pharmaceutical Technology, Journal of Basic Microbiology, Journal of Nanoparticles Research, Applied Nanoscience, Journal of Applied Microbiology, Indian Journal of Medical Microbiology, Applied Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Journal of Photochemistry & Photobiology B: Biology, Journal Experimental Nanoscience, Environmental Toxicology etc. He teaches clinical bacteriology, basic microbiology, general immunology, medical mycology and environmental microbiology at UG level. His current research interests cover areas of green synthesis of nanoparticles and nanotoxicology as well as their clinical applications. Dr. Mohammad is particularly focused on antimicrobial properties of nanoparticles against multidrug resistant bacteria especially ESBL and MRSA isolated from tertiary care hospital and their toxicological effects on mice in vivo. Currently he is the Editorial board member of various journal such as Journal of Materials Sciences and Applications, International Journal of Biological Sciences and Applications, International Journal of Nanomaterials, Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine, and NanoDrugs.
