Biography

Dr. Cengiz Gokbulut is graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ankara University, Turkey in 1991. He got a scholarship from Turkish Higher Education Council for doing PhD abroad in 1995. He started his PhD study at the Department of Pharmacology, University of Glasgow, UK in 1996. He obtained his PhD degree in 2000. Then he backed to Turkey and started to work as lecturer and researcher at Department of the Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Adnan Menderes, Aydin, Turkey. He became Professor here in 2011 then he moved to Balikesir University in 2013 as Head of Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Medicine, Balikesir, Turkey.


Research Interest

Pharmacokinetics and Toxicokinetics; Determination of veterinary drug, pesticide and mycotoxin residues in foodstuffs with validated chromatographic methods; In vivo-in vitro metabolism of drugs in animals; Pharmacokinetic/Toxicokinetic models and data analysis; Analytical method development and validation for chromatographic analysis.
