Dr. Dayla Thyeme Higashi was born on October 01, 1988, in the city of Bauru, São Paulo State, Brazil. Performed graduation in the Dentistry College of Londrina State University (Paraná, Brazil), Dentistry Master’s degree in the Dentistry College of Londrina State University (Paraná, Brazil) and Doctorate in the Dentistry College of Maringá State University (Paraná, Brazil) – Concentration Area: Integrated Dental Clinic/Restorative Dentistry. The theses presented and been developed to postgraduate involved photobiomodulation and its application for the resolution or control of problems related to dental procedures. Since February 2012 exercises professional activities of education in dentistry at the Paranaense University in the city of Umuarama (Paraná, Brazil). The subjects taught are Operative Dentistry I, Operative Dentistry II, Operative Dentistry III, Multiprofessional Health Internship and Observational Internship in Private Clinic. The research field interests are operative dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, dental bleaching, photobiomodulation, laser therapy, LED therapy, light emitting diodes therapy, tooth hypersensitivity, root resorption, induced tooth movement, histological analysis, micro tomographic analysis, resin composites, restorative procedures and clinical follow-up of restorations.
