I am a biological anthropologist from the National University of La Plata, Argentina. My research is about dental morphology in hominin, prehistoric and recent populations including non-metric dental traits, the genetic bases of modern human dental morphology, the use of dental morphology to reconstruct hominin population history, sexual dimorphism, biological and phylogenetic relationships and biological ancestry. . One of my main reserach topic is the qualitative and quantitative study of the Native American dental morphology to address the initial peopling of the Americas. I have worked with contemporary African-American, admixed and Amerindian populations from Northern South America and prehistoric Amerindians from North and South America. I have Phd degree in Anthropology. I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) and a researcher of the Division of Anthropology, Faculty of the Natural Sciences and Museum, National University of La Plata, Argentina. I am member of several scientific associations including Dental Anthropology Association, Paleoanthropological Society and American Association of Physical Anthropologists.
