Dr. Bassem Sadek is Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics, College of Medicine & Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. He received his Bachelor of Pharmacy and later his Ph.D in Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Design from the Free University of Berlin/Germany. He is a member of several scientific societies, including European Histamine Research Society (EHRS), German Society of Pharmacology and Toxicology, and German Pharmaceutical Society (DPHG). He is an editorial board member of numerous peer-reviewed journals. He work in the field of synthesis, pharmacological, and preclinical evaluation of ligands targeting cognitive as well as behavioral disorders is well recognized and as a result he is currently appointed as a Research Associate in the Department of Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry, College of Chemistry and Pharmacy, University of Regensburg, Germany.
