Dr. Vijayapandi Pandy is presently working in the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He graduated B. Pharm with first class in the year 1997 and M. Pharm (Pharmacology) with 1st rank in SCS College of Pharmacy, Harapanahalli, Karnataka, India in 2000. He obtained his PhD from one of the premier institute in India, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS-Pilani) in the field of Psychopharmacology. He is a life member in many professional bodies including the Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council, Indian Pharmacological Society and Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience in India, Libya and Ethiopia. He has published more than 50 research and review articles in the peer-reviewed journals. He is an Editorial Board Member in various national and international journals. He is a recipient of various research grants such as BKP, PPP, UMRG and HIR-MOHE. He successfully supervised 01 PhD and 04 M. Pharm research projects in India. Currently, he is supervising 05 postgraduate research projects in UM.
