Dr. Eduardo Esteban Zubero is a Medical Doctor at the Emergency Department of Hospital San Pedro (Logrońo, Spain). His bachelor of Medicine as well as his residence period (as a Gneeral Practitioner) were developed in Zaragoza (Spain). He is member of the research group “Physiology of aging and oxidative stress” at the University of Zaragoza and approved by the governmental agency (DGA), Spain. Dr. Esteban is member of the Editorial Board of several journals. In addition, he received several awards, including the “Excellent GP Award of Aragon, Spain” in the category of medical resident, in 2016. Finally, he is doing his PhD project at the University of Zaragoza. This work is based in melatonin benefits agains ischemia-reperfusion injury in liver. His research interests are Emergency Medicine and melatonin as an antioxidant in several diseases, especially in ischemia-reperfusion injury.
