Dr. Natassia Ribeiro has received her PhD in biochemistry at Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Fortaleza, Brazil during the period of January of 2016. Currently. She is working as Professor in the health area at Fanor Devry College. Since 2007, she is devoted to study the Biological activities from sulphated polysaccharides (SP) of seaweed and your toxicity in the Carbohydrate and Lectin Laboratory (CARBOLEC) at UFC. She is currently working on her post-phd project whose topic of research is the effect of these SP on hypernociception in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). She has authored 6 research articles in high-impact international scientific journals.
