Dr. Xiang Li is associate professor in Zhengzhou Tobacco Research Institute of CNTC, China. He received his Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Beijing, China. His research field is toxicology of tobacco smoke and risk assessment of tobacco products. He has been interested in developing in vitro testing methods and in vitro models for evaluating the toxicological effects of cigarette smoke as well as novel tobacco products. He accumulated experiences in the aspect of toxicity testing and smoke aerosol dosimetry based on the air-liquid interface exposure. His research work has been supported by multiple research funds, and he has published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed reputed journals and in both national and international toxicology-related conferences.
