Dr. Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Livezey is currently the associate director of clinical development within the Division of Experimental Therapeutics at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR). He has held this position since 2016. As associate director he provides clinical support to any drug development projects within Experimental Therapeutics as well as clinical trials conducted at the WRAIR’s Clinical Trials Center. His own research is focused on pharmacogenomics and drug toxicity. He also is the Program Director for the military’s only Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship. LTC Livezey received his B.S. from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1997 and his M.D. from the Uniformed Services University in 2004. He also received a M.S. in Clinical Investigation from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2010. LTC Livezey is currently board certified in Pediatrics as well as Clinical Pharmacology and is currently credentialed at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Since 2016, he has also served as the WRAIR’s Institutional Review Board chair.
