Dr. Roberta Visconti is a Researcher of the Institute of Experimental Endocrinology and Oncology "G. Salvatore", Department of Biomedical Sciences, National Council of Research in Napoli, Italy. She accomplished her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Napoli "Federico II" in Italy. She spent 3 years of postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, USA under the mentorship of Dr. John J. O'Shea.

She has many publications in peer-reviewed journals and she is a peer reviewer for many journals including The Journal of Biological Chemistry, The Journal of Immunology, Endocrine-related cancer and Current Opinion in Pharmacology.
