Biography

Dr. Mustafa Yipel (DVM., PhD.) is a full-time Assistant Professor (with lecture/research/academic duties) in Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Namık Kemal University, Tekirdag, Turkey. He accomplished his Ph.D in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Ankara University (Turkey) and DVM from Selçuk University (Turkey).

Scientifically, he has been interested in developing R&D-based biomaterials with controlled drug release and drug delivery systems. Technically, he has been interested in vitro and in vivo tests of biomaterials, contaminants, biomonitors, residue analysis, both environmental and health risk assesessment.

He has scientific projects with research fundings, numerous publications in indexed journals and various presentations in both national and international conferences on ecotoxicology, drug targeting, etnoveterinary medicine and experimental pharmacology. Besides being in jury commities in national and international invention exhibitions, he has patent aplications and international invention prizes where one is gold metal.
