Dr. My Abdelmonaim (Ph.D.) is Research Associate in Pharmacology and Environmental laboratory at the faculty of science Semlalia, Cadi Ayyad University, Morocco. His current research topic is the physiological outcomes of scorpion and snake venoms with a focus of the involvement of central nervous system (CNS).
During His Ph.D., He investigated the toxicological effects of some Moroccan endemic scorpion species with a comparative approach of their specific related pathophysiological hallmarks and mechanisms. The goal of His investigation concerned the encephalopathy related to peripheral and central venom administration as well. Recently He works on the characterization of the anti-cancer properties of some venom components using in vitro models.
He published several scientific reports relating to health profession and toxicology in indexed journals with impact factor. He participated in various national and international scientific meetings and He is reviewer of several reputed journals in the field of toxicology and epidemiology.
