Dr. Suowen Xu (PhD.) is Research Assistant Professor at University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY, USA. He accomplished his Ph.D in Pharmacology from Sun Yat-sen University (China), and he received postdoctoral training as Visiting Fellow from National Institutes of Health (USA) and as Research Associate from University of Rochester. Scientifically, he has been interested in developing new strategies to prevent or treat atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases. He is a recipient of Young Investigator Award from Chinese American College of Cardiology and Ministry of Education of China, respectively. He also receives American Heart Association Travel Award for Young Investigators in 2016.
