Dr. Sujogya Kumar Panda, born in India on 1982, holds a B.Sc. in Botany (Honors) and M. Sc. In Applied and Industrial Microbiology with a specialization in Pharmaceutical & Clinical Microbiology. He is trained in natural products and obtained Ph.D. on working with medicinal plants. Formerly, a faculty member at P.G. Department of Microbiology, M.P.C (Auto) College and Department of Biotechnology, North Orissa University, he has an eclectic background that includes teaching, research, writing and publishing. During last 12 years he has worked in the field of ethnopharmacology, infectious diseases, nanoparticles and pharmacoepidemiology. Dr. Panda is acted as reviewer and editorial board member for many journals published by Elsevier, Springer, Bentham Science, ACS, SAP (USA) etc. He has published more than 40 research articles in journals of International/National repute. Dr. Panda has also received Young Scientist award from Science & Technology Department, Govt. of India awarded to the young and innovative research scholars to continue their research. At present, he is engrossed in collection, identification and of Indian Medicinal Plants and continuing his postdoc in Animal Physiology and Neurobiology Section, Zoological Institute, KU Leuven, Belgium.
