Dr. Steven Fleming is the Director of Toxicology, Research, and Development at Gulfstream Diagnostics, LLC, Dallas, Texas. He completed his Master of Science degree in Veterinary Medical Sciences with a concentration in Forensic Toxicology from the University of Florida. He is board certified as a Fellow by the American Board of Forensic Toxicology and a Toxicological Chemist by the National Registry of Certified Chemists. He is an active member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, the American Association for Clinical Chemistry, the Society of Forensic Toxicologist, and American Academy of Clinical Toxicology. He has published in Clinical Applications of Mass Spectrometry as well as numerous medical journals. Additionally, he attends and presents at regional, national, and international conferences.

Developing new methodologies for clinical and forensic toxicology laboratories; Automation; and developing solutions to detect new novel and emerging drugs of abuse.
