Dr. Shuang-Xi Gu (MD., PhD.) is an associate professor in Key Laboratory for Green Chemical Process of Ministry of Education and Wuhan Institute of Technology, Hubei Province, China. He accomplished his Ph. D in organic chemistry from Fudan University (China) and MD from Hubei Research Institute of Chemistry (China), and he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in University of Virginia (USA). Scientifically, He has been interested in developing novel antiviral and anticancer agents with excellent activities. He has designed a number of new molecular entities which displayed potent actitities. Technically, he has been interested in the research and development of environmental-friendly synthetic process of pharmaceuticals. He has outstanding records of scientific and academic accomplishments with multiple research funding, numerous publications in highly prestigious journals and various presentations in both national and international conferences.
