Biography

Dr. Giuseppe Caminiti is consultant cardiologist and researcher at the Cardiology Rehabilitation department of S. Raffaele Pisana IRCCS, Rome, Italy. He was born in Italy in 1972. He graduated as Medical Doctor at Catholic University of Rome, Italy, in 1996. He completed his training in cardiology and internal medicine at Catholic University of Rome and University of Tor Vergata of Rome. He is Adjunct Professor of Cardiology at Nursing School of University La Sapienza/ S. Raffaele, Italy, since 2005. His main areas of clinical practice are long-term treatment and management of patients with heart failure, secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease, and management of hypertension. His research interests are exercise training in cardiovascular disease, heart failure, and hypertension and hormonal therapy of heart failure. He is Member of the European Society of Heart Failure and European Society of Prevention and Rehabilitstion.
